                                                        INVITATION
With pleasure we INVITE you ( Folk groups,dance groups,vocal and choir groups, majorette teams,orchestras), (children, youth and adults groups) to participate on International Folklore Festival "KOPAONIK FOLKLORE NOW"
 which will be held in Kopaonik SERBIA from 29 February - 01 March 2025 

     The intention of our invitation  and the Festival light motive is to present the cultural tradition of different countries and to provide an opportunity for the members of groups to get together, to establish friendships and culture presentation trough dance and music

On the slopes of the mountain range there is a Kopaonik ski resort which is one of the largest in Southeastern Europe. There are 25 ski lifts. Hotel "Junior" is located at an ideal altitude of 1100 m above sea level, on the Kopaonik mountain in the tourist resort of Brzeće and is categorized with 3 stars.

The hotel has its own SKI track (blue - for beginners) with the possibility of enrolling in a ski school with special prices for competitors, a snow tubing track, a ski service and a cable car. The youngest can enjoy the playroom as well as the cinema projection in the evenings, while the adults can use their free time in the SPA center (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath) as well as in the beautiful ambience of the cafe restaurant where evening parties will be organized.

Participation fee:

-  110 Euro per person - 2 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner - buffet)

-  145 Euro per person - 3 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner - buffet)

-  175 Euro per person - 4 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner - buffet)

Free place on every 26th member (25+1)

NOTICE .The obligation of all the toops is to groups the music - After the aplication you are in obligation to send us music in mp3 format for every coreography .

 After choreography application deadline, we will send you all your choreography to check. You will have 48 hours to answer us if that everything is ok. After that, all fees for all choreographies that you applied, have to be 100% payed!

 GENERAL RULES — PASSO FUNDO’S XVI INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL THE GROUP: We can receive groups of a maximum of 25 people. We inform you that groups that really need a larger number of members to carry out their performance must request permission from the organization of the event and must not exceed a maximum of 30 people, including dancers, musicians and directors. Each group must perform with live music and have a repertoire for shows of 05, 12 and 30 minutes, and must represent traditional dances from their country/province.

ARRIVAL: Transport from the place of origin will be the responsibility of the guest group, who must arrive in Passo Fundo on August 7th or 8th, 2024, at Lauro Kurtz Airport (preferably) or Salgado Filho International Airport - in the city of Porto Alegre/RS.

DEPARTURE: We ask groups to return to their places of origin on August 17, 2024.

SCHEDULE: Each participating group must be available for festival activities in two shifts per day. Ex: morning and night, afternoon and night or morning and afternoon, leaving a free shift for rest, walks, rehearsals, etc. During the event, we will have two large street parades, where everyone must be present, in addition to small parades where 3 or 4 groups must participate with a route of approximately 500 meters. There is the possibility of holding presentations in cities close to Passo Fundo. For these occasions, the group may perform presentations of up to 45 minutes. The presentations will be at the principal stage, morning, afternoon and night, at schools, in the afternoon, and may also take place in social institutions, squares, clubs, etc.

ACCOMMODATION: The event will offer simple accommodation in hotels or retreat houses in the city.

FOOD: Complete and balanced meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be offered during the group's stay in Passo Fundo.

TRANSPORT: The festival offers internal transport during the festival, receiving the group at one of the indicated airports. This transport does not include tours or trips to other cities or tourist attractions outside the festival schedule.

WORKSHOPS: Workshops will be organized among the participating groups to share dances and music.

DISSEMINATION MATERIAL: We ask that you send us 6 (six) color photos and a brief history of the group, with a list of members with name, function, age, gender and passpor.

INSURANCE:
Personal responsibility and health insurance are within the other obligations of the groups. First Aid and Medical Hospital will be available, medical services must be covered by the group
.

The festival will organize the transport for the groups coming by plane by picking them up from airport, during the festival days and back to the airport. .The group pay only registration fee of 25 euro per person after we confirm your participation.
