With pleasure we INVITE you ( Folk groups,dance groups,vocal and choir groups, majorette teams,orchestras), (children, youth and adults groups) to participate on I INTERNATIONAL FOLKLOR FESTIVAL ACUÑA 2024" which will be held in   CITY ACUÑA COAHUILA DE ZARAGOZA, MEXICO from 31 August - 16 September  2024 

     The intention of our invitation  and the Festival light motive is to present the cultural tradition of different countries and to provide an opportunity for the members of groups to get together, to establish friendships and culture presentation trough dance and music

 The groups participating in the Mitote Folklòrico Acuña 2024 must perform with live music, in a continuous 90-minute program. Without intermissions, with dances representative of their country or state of origin and/or National repertoire.

2. All groups must arrive in Cd. Acuña, in the morning according to the days or the day they have to participate according to the invitation. In the case of INTERNATIONAL Groups, they will arrive at the Mariano Escobedo Airport in Monterrey N.L. International groups must arrive on September 6 at the latest at 10:00 p.m. m. (10:00 p.m.) to the city of Monterrey to coordinate your land transfer and arrival on time to Cd. Acuña, since September 7 is the Inauguration of the Folklore Festival. And his return must be on September 17. Your stay at the festival is from September 7 to 16.

3. Transportation costs are the responsibility of the participating group. (International groups must include transportation from Monterrey to Cd. Acuña, based on a cost in accordance with special quotes for the festival and that includes the return from the municipality of Acuña to Monterrey to take their return flights, this expense ranging between 1000.00 and 1500.00 pesos national currency per person).

4. National groups must have more than 20 dancers and less than 40 participants, including musicians and directors. International groups have no more than 15 members including musicians, dancers, managers.

5. All components of the expedition must have some participation or responsibility in the group. Only musicians, dancers, choir, director and choreographer will be admitted. If any authority from your state/city attends, you must notify our organization in advance. The accommodation and food of the companions who do not fulfill any of the aforementioned functions will be the responsibility of the group..

6. Lodging and food are at the expense of Mitote and internal transportation for groups that do not have their own transportation.

7. If the group's arrival in Cd. Acuña occurs before the start date of the invitation, or remains after it has ended, the expenses will be borne by the group..

8. It is requested to bring a flag of your Country / Coat of Arms of your State and the group's banner for your program, a parade, visit to other municipalities, etc.

9. Any damage to the accommodation facilities by any group will be the responsibility of the group's director.

10. Groups are asked to send, along with the participation form, at least 5 high-definition photographs of the group in pose and performance (jpg or png), a 5-minute video must be sent considering the following: Video recorded as professionally as possible, ensuring that the production presented is of quality and Logo, shield or advertising image of the group. The group authorizes the organizers to use and publish all photographs and video material collected before and during the Mitote. Reception of materials no later than APRIL 30, 2024.

11. Groups may not demand any compensation for possible recordings or filming for Radio, TV, etc. 

12. Medical expenses during your stay at Mitote will be covered by each group; The Mitote organization will support whatever is necessary to provide the service and will have first aid and emergency support. (Exceptions apply here as the case may be)

➢ National groups are suggested to travel with the validity of the members' rights as applicable to their social security institute.

➢ International groups are advised to purchase international travel insurance with overseas medical treatment for all members of their delegation in their country before starting this international trip..

NOTE: All groups must comply with the protocols established by our health authorities upon arrival in the country in the case of international groups and from their state for national groups..

13. Participation in all Mitote activities is mandatory.

14. You are asked to bring gifts representative of your state and/or country, to exchange with the authorities of the municipalities that will receive them (at least 12 in international groups, 2 to 3 in National groups, although it is also recommended to bring to exchange with the other participating groups).

15. All group members must wear traditional dress in all presentations.

16. All clothing items, as well as musical instruments, must be traditional.

17. Each director will be responsible for the discipline of his group.

18. This Event does not grant pocket help.

➢ The festival organization encourages the participating group to bring group products, souvenirs or crafts typical and representative of their country or state to sell whose benefit will be to the group itself. (optional, without obligation on the part of the festival organization)

19. En caso de incumplimiento de estas reglas, el Mitote tendrá la facultad de dar por terminada la participación del grupo, sin que ello conlleve a cualquier responsabilidad para los organizadores.

20. All groups must accept these terms. If the group accepts the rules of participation listed above, they must sign a copy of this document and send it back to the organizers no later than APRIL 30, 2024 The groups pay only registration fee of 20 euro per person.
