 With pleasure we INVITE you (Folk Ensembles, Choral Groups,ballroom dance, art schools, modern baley, Majorette teams) (children, youth and adults groups) to participate on V Internatinal Dance & music festival “SARAJEVO FOLK FEST” 03 - 06 April 2025,Sarajevo,Bosnia and Herzegovina   

The intention of our invitation and the Festival light motive is to present the cultural tradition of different countries and to provide an opportunity for the members of groups to get together, to establish friendships and culture presentation trough dance and music.

  Sarajevo is the capital of BiH, it is known for its exciting and crazy night life, by many cultural and historical monuments, good food and coffee from the fields, by pies, burecs, cevapi and rahatlok. Visiting Sarajevo and not eating cevapa and pie and then drinking coffee with rahatlok on it BASCARSIJA because it is a kind of pleasure with the many tourists who visit it city.

Sarajevo is the second city in Europe in terms of number of tourist visits.Many optional excursions will be suggested for groups to visit during the duration festival: tour of Olympic beauty Jahorina, cable car ride, trip to Visoko and a tour of the pyramid, the spring of Bosnia and many others.mixture of rich history and modern life.

General rules:

- Every group has the right to participate. No limit for participation (Children,Youth,Adults groups 

- This is a non-competitive sample of traditional and modern dances and music performed by  groups.

- The number of participants are limited (only 3  groups from each country).

- Each group should consist of most 60 members including dancers, managers musicians and family member.

- Ensemble should have prepared at least 2 folk dances x10 minutes  each with orchestra or USB.

- The performances will be in the evening hours so you can plan the day ahead and use it for visiting the historical part of the city and excursions. Also, we will choose the best girl's and men's folk costume and the best dancing couple.

- To send us short CV and photos of the group.

- To take a flag of the country.

 - Ensembles should have there own transport for arrival and departure.

Program:

 Day 1

13.00 - Arrival in Sarajevo,  hotel accommodation.

19.00 - 20.00 - Dinner in hotel

21.00 - Welcome meeting  with leaders of the groups

 Day 2

08.00 - 10.00 - Breakfast.

10.00 - 14.00 - Sarajevo sightseeing

18.00 - 19.00 - Dinner in hotel.

19.00 - Ensembles parade (old town).

20.00  Festival evening 

 Day 3 

09.00 - 10.00 - Breakfast.

11.00 - 15.30 - Excursions or free time 

18.00 - 19.30 - Dinner in hotel

20.00 -22.00 Second Festival evening and folklore party

Day 4 

 09.00 - Breakfast.

11.00 - Departure of the participants.

Participation fee:

- 125 Euro per person for 3 nights Full  board accommodation (breakfast, lunch and  dinner) including tourist tax

It covers hotel accommodation with 3 meals per day in 4* hotel "BM" in triple  rooms

Festival organizers provide:

- For 20 dancers – one gratis;

- Souvenir and gift for each group;

- Certificate for attendance;

- Free parking

- Translator (Russian, English)

- As part of the festival, the ensembles have 2 concerts (Friday and Saturday).

- Every evening in the hall of the hotel, an ensemble gathering is organized

-Optional excursions are free (Vrelo Bosne, Gondola, Avazov Tower

, Bascarsia with a local guide)

The group after deposit of 10% than they should pay  30 euros per person as an advance payment , If the group cancels its arrival, the advance payment is not returned

Sarajevo is a city with a big and open heart, that's why we invite you to participate

festival, you take away beautiful impressions from SARAJEVO.

For the groups arriving by plane we will organize transfer from the Sarajevo airport to the hotel on the cost of participants.

INSURANCE: 

Personal responsibility and health insurance are within the other obligations of the groups. First Aid and Medical Hospital will be available, medical services must be covered by the group.

After Groups arrived in Hotel will be given detailed program of the festival and each group will have guide during festival.

After the festival finish organizers will send you link of the fetsival from where you can take photos and videos.

On your request,  You can continue your stay in Sarajevo. Price will be 40 Euro per day per person FB  For additional days we will prepare special program for you. 

In 2019 on this Festival participated over 450 (children’s, youth and adults) from 10  countries of South – East and central Europe.

 Number of seats is limited on 400 participants or 10-12 groups!!
