I N V I T A T I O N

With pleasure we INVITE you (folk groups, Choral groups and orchestras, art schools, ballroom dance groups, modern dance groups, majorette teams), (children, youth and adults groups) to participate on International music & Dance festival “EKRENE ” 06 - 09 June 2024 ,Kranevo Villige resort, BULGARIA

The intention of our invitation and the Festival light motive is to present the cultural tradition of different countries and to provide an opportunity for the members of groups to get together, to establish friendships and culture presentation trough dance and music.

The international festival "Ekrene" bears the name of the emblematic silent sea "guard" of the resort village - the "Ekrene" lighthouse, which for years was the highest on our coast. Now that the lighthouse is gone, the name "Ekrene", derived from the former name of Kranevo (ancient Kranea , Akrania ), will become the emblem of the international festival, which will be held for the first time this year. The festival will turn the picturesque Bulgarian village of Kranevo into a scene of magic talents from different parts of the world. The international festival "Ekrene" aims at the development and popularization of song and dance wealth that knows no borders.

The concert program will be held in the following areas:

 Song: pop, popular and folk song

 Dance: Hip-hop, modern, and folk dances.

 Open festival without competition character r

 Total duration of performances in the "Song" category:

- individual contractor: up to 5 min.

- groups: up to 8 min.

 Total duration of performances in the "Dance" category:

- individual contractor: up to 5 min.

- groups: up to 15 min.

 The festival includes all genres of dance and song art.

 All performers/groups/collectives will participate in the official Parade of the festival and the Gala concert. The organizers can also provide additional participation if the participants wish to do so.

 After the deadline for receiving applications for participation, a detailed concert program will be prepared, which will also include the order of presentation of the participants.

Participants in the festival

 Individual performers and groups participate in the festival (no limit on the number of participants)

 No age restrictions

 RULES DURING THE CONCERT PROGRAM:

1) The organizers reserve the right for any kind of documentation, broadcast, filming, and distribution of the material without paying rights and compensations.

2) The group managers/individual performers are responsible for accidents and injuries to performers on stage.

3) The costs of transport and accommodation of the groups/individual performers and their accompanying persons are at the expense of the participants.

4) The expenses for technical and stage provision are at the expense of the organizers.

5) The leaders of the groups/individual performers are responsible for the behavior of the participants of their collectives/individual performers during the event.

6) The organizers are not responsible for costumes, props and personal belongings of the participants.

7) If the music is provided on a CD, it must contain only one track. Music can also be provided on a flash drive.

8) Musical performances with obscene lyrics are not allowed.

9) Safety - the use of burning fires, liquids, or other substances, cutting objects that may wet the floor or damage the flooring is prohibited.

10)The organizers have the right to change the concert program at any time, depending on the participants.

11)All teams will receive a certificate of participation.

 ACCOMMODATION:

The accommodation of the participants is in the two main partners of the festival -"Festa” Hotel and "Alexandra Palace" Hotel. Accommodation is in double and triple rooms.
