INVITATION

With pleasure, we invite folk ensembles, choral groups, art schools, majorette teams, orchestras, ballroom dance groups (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXI International Music & Dance Festival “PARALIA SUNSET” from 18 to 22 September 2025 in Paralia, Greece.

The festival aims to present the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for members of groups to get together, establish friendships, and showcase their culture through dance and music. The idea of the festival is to bring music closer to the people and present it on the streets and squares.

 GENERAL RULES

The festival is a non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances and music performed by groups.
Participants may include children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, vocal groups, instrumental groups, soloists, and performers from other art styles.
Participation is limited to three groups from each country.
Each group may consist of a maximum of 50 members, including dancers, managers, and musicians.
Each ensemble should prepare at least two folk dances for a total performance time of 15-20 minutes with orchestra or USB.
Choral groups should prepare a free program of about 15 minutes.
Performances will be held in the evening, allowing participants to plan daytime excursions and visits to historical parts of the city.
Groups must send a short CV and photos of their group.
Groups should bring a flag representing their country.
Each group must arrange their own transportation for arrival and departure.

 ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

Participation fees are as follows:
119 EUR for 3 half-board (HB) meals per person (4 days / 3 nights)
149 EUR for 4 half-board (HB) meals per person (5 days / 4 nights)
179 EUR for 5 half-board (HB) meals per person (6 days / 5 nights)

All double and single rooms are available upon request. Multiple-bed accommodations are assigned based on availability.

Additional charges:
Double rooms: 12 EUR per person per day
Single rooms: 35 EUR per person per day
Air conditioning: 5-7 EUR per room per day depending on accommodation
Tourist tax: 2 EUR per person per day, payable separately

Accommodation is in hotels and apartments with full capacity and private toilets, located on the beach in Paralia or Olympic Beach (Yakhintos, Katerina, Xenia Zeus, Ifigenia, Despina, London, Phenix, etc.).
For drivers and leaders, two double rooms will be provided.
For groups of 25 people, one participant is free.
Extended stay price: 30 EUR per day per person HB (upon request).

19:30 – 23:00 Party at Aloha Beach with all participants

11:00 – 17:00 Free time: Beach, Thessalonica, or Katerini (optional)
18:00 Dinner at the hotel
19:30 – 23:00 Festival evening on the square in Paralia

Day 4 (21 September)
09:00 – 10:00 Breakfast
11:00 – 17:00 Free time: Beach or Meteora visit (optional)
21:00 Free time

Day 5 (22 September)

 EXCURSIONS INFORMATION

Boat Excursion (Day 2, 09:00 – 16:00):
Departure from Paralia port for a scenic boat trip in the Thermaikos Gulf.
Stops include Plaka Beach for swimming, Variko Beach for lunch (grilled fish, Greek salad, and drinks), and additional swimming stops.

Optional Activities:
Beach time for relaxation on the beautiful beaches of Paralia and Olympic Beach.
Historical visits to Thessalonica, Katerini, or Meteora (famous historical site).
Festival party at Aloha Beach (Day 4).
