INVITATION
With pleasure, we invite folk ensembles, choral groups, majorette teams, brass bands, and other performing groups — including children, youth, and adults — to participate in the XX International Music & Dance Festival “OLIMPIC PARADISE”, which will take place from 19–24 August 2025 in Paralia – Olympic, Katerini, Greece.
The intention of our invitation and the festival’s light motive is to present the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for members of groups to get together, establish friendships, and present their cultures through dance and music. The idea of the festival is to bring music closer to the people and present it on streets and squares. The festival is open to folk and choir ensembles, orchestras, and majorettes regardless of members’ gender and age.
General Rules
The festival is a non-competitive sample of traditional and modern dances and music performed by groups.
Participants may include children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, vocal groups, instrumental groups, soloists, and groups/performers from other art styles.
Participation is limited to 3 groups from each country.
Each group should consist of no more than 50 members, including dancers, managers, and musicians.
Ensembles should prepare at least 2 folk dances with a total program time of 15 minutes, accompanied by orchestra or USB.
Choral groups should prepare a free program about 15 minutes.
Performances will be in the evening hours to allow daytime sightseeing and excursions.
Groups must send a short CV and photos of the group.
Groups should bring their national flag.
Groups are responsible for their own transport for arrival and departure.
Accommodation Information
Participants will be accommodated in hotels and apartments along the beach in Paralia or Olympic Beach, including establishments such as Yakhintos, Katerina, Xenia Zeus, Ifigenia, Despina, London, and Phenix.
All offer full capacity with multiple rooms and private toilets.
Participation Fees
179 EUR for 4 half-board days per person (5 days / 4 nights with 2 meals per day).
219 EUR for 5 half-board days per person (6 days / 5 nights with 2 meals per day).
All double and single rooms are available upon request. Multiple-bed accommodations are assigned based on availability.
Additional costs:
Additional double rooms: 12 EUR per person per day.
Additional single rooms: 40 EUR per person per day.
Additional Costs
Tourist tax of 2 EUR per person per day is an additional cost and not included in participation fees.
Festival Organizers Provide
One free participant for every 24 dancers (24+1, 48+2).
Souvenir and gift for each group.
Certificate of attendance.
Free parking.
Advertising of the festival via press releases, social media promotion, and posters.
Optional Extension
Participants wishing to stay longer can arrange additional days at 42 EUR per person per day (half-board), including excursions and festival activities.
Insurance & Additional Details
Personal responsibility and health insurance are the group’s obligation.
The festival provides first aid and medical services.
Transportation from Thessaloniki Airport (75 km from Paralia) can be arranged at additional cost.

Program Information
Day 1 (19 August): 13:00 Arrival in Paralia, hotel accommodation, free beach time. 18:00–19:00 Dinner at the hotel. 21:00 Welcome reception with group leaders; Aloha Beach Party (optional).
Day 2 (20 August): 07:00–08:30 Breakfast. 11:00–16:00 Boat excursion in Thermaikos Gulf. 17:30–18:30 Dinner at the hotel. 19:30 Festival evening on the square in Paralia or Olympic, including certificate presentation and gift exchanges.
Day 3 (21 August): 07:00–08:30 Breakfast. 11:00–16:00 Optional boat excursion or visits to Meteora or Thessaloniki. 18:00–19:00 Dinner at the hotel. 21:00 Aloha Beach Party (optional) or free time.
Day 4 (22 August): 09:00–10:00 Breakfast. 11:00–17:00 Beach time or visit Meteora. 21:00 Free time in Paralia.
Day 5 (23 August): 09:00–11:00 Breakfast. 11:30 Departure of participants.
Excursion Information
The festival offers exciting excursions for participants to explore the beautiful surroundings.
Day 2 & Day 3 Boat Excursion: Experience the blue waters of Thermaikos Gulf, including stops at Variko Beach for swimming and a lunch of grilled fish and Greek salad.
Alternative Excursions: Options to visit Meteora or Thessaloniki are available.
Participants will also have free time to relax on the beach or explore historical sites, allowing for a balanced festival experience.
