INVITATION

With pleasure, we invite folklore ensembles, choral groups, majorette teams, brass bands, and other performing groups — including children, youth, and adults — to participate in the XI Folklore Festival in Paralia, Katerini, Greece, which will take place from 12–17 August 2025.

Paralia Katerini, located near Mount Olympus, offers stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, and rich cultural heritage, making it the perfect setting for this international folklore festival.

Festival Welcomes:
Folklore ensembles from various countries including Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Armenia, Georgia, Indonesia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Austria, and more.

General Rules
Performances should last approximately 10 minutes and may be accompanied by a live orchestra or music CD.
Groups must provide their own music or accompanying orchestra.
All necessary documents must be sent via email.
Groups are responsible for arranging their own transport.

Accommodation Information
Participants will be accommodated in villas and hotels close to the beach, including:

  • Villas: Villa Odiseas, Vila Violet, Vila Victoria Inn, Vila Electra Beach
  • Hotels: Hotel Atlantis***

Participation Fee

  • 225 EUR per person – 5 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner) in standard villas
  • 245 EUR per person – 5 nights with half board in Vila Electra Beach
  • 305 EUR per person – 5 nights with half board in Hotel Atlantis***

All double and single rooms are available upon request. Multiple-bed accommodations are assigned based on availability.

Additional Costs

  • Double room surcharge: 12 EUR per person per night
  • Single room surcharge: 35 EUR per person per night
  • Tourist tax: 2 EUR per room per night (villas) or 3 EUR per room per night (hotels)

  • One free participation for every 25 members
  • Diplomas and letter of invitation
  • Various room types available including triple, quadruple, studios, or apartments

Note: All excursions must be booked at least 14 days before the festival start. The organizing committee cannot guarantee availability for excursions booked after the deadline or during the festival.
