INVITATION
The International Folklore Festival "Bjelašnička Staze" celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, continuing its tradition as a premier cultural event. Held on the stunning Olympic Mountain Bjelašnica, the festival welcomes folklore groups from around the world, offering them a unique opportunity to showcase their heritage while experiencing the natural beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year, the festival aims to host even more international groups, providing participants with unforgettable cultural exchanges and the chance to explore Sarajevo and its surroundings.
Festival Overview
Dates: 04–08 July 2025
Location: Bjelašnica, Sarajevo
(Accommodation in Sarajevo, approximately 20 km from the festival venue)
Participation fee: €140 per person
Accommodation in double and triple rooms
Breakfast and dinner included

Activity Plan
04.07 (Day 1):
Arrival of groups at the hotel.
Check-in and accommodation.
Free time to relax.
Evening city tour of Sarajevo.
05.07 (Day 2):
Guided tour of Sarajevo’s iconic attractions and Bosnian hot springs.
Horse-drawn carriage rides.
Festival opening ceremony at the central square of the Municipality of Ilidža (start at 19:00).
06.07 (Day 3):
Morning shopping in popular Sarajevo shopping centers (SCC, BCC, West Gate).
Preparations for the second festival night (start at 19:00).
07.07 (Day 4):
Tour of the Olympic Mountains Bjelašnica and Igman, including a cable car ride.
Preparations for the third festival night.
08.07 (Day 5):
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure of groups to their respective countries.
Accommodation
Participants will stay at Hotel BM, located in Sarajevo.
Accommodation will be in double and triple rooms, with breakfast and dinner included.
Transportation
Groups are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Sarajevo.
Bus drivers are accommodated free of charge.
