INVITATION
With pleasure we invite folklore ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, modern dance groups, and majorette teams — including children and youth — to participate in the VII. Adriatic Dance and Music Festival, held from July 3–6, 2025 in Senj, Croatia.
The festival’s goal is to promote international cultural exchange through music and dance, bringing together diverse traditions on a shared stage in the beautiful Adriatic setting of Senj. Known for its coastal charm, medieval heritage, and vibrant local festivals, Senj offers an ideal summer backdrop to celebrate the arts.
Senj is positioned between the Velebit mountains and the Adriatic Sea, famous for its Nehaj Fortress, charming old town streets, and traditional celebrations. Participants will enjoy both scenic beauty and authentic Croatian culture.
Festival Program
Day 1 – July 3,
14:00 – Arrival and hotel check-in
18:30 – 19:30 – Dinner at the hotel
20:30 – Organizational meeting with directors and choreographers
Day 2 – July 4,
07:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
10:00 – 14:00 – Optional tour: Rijeka Cultural City Tour
16:00 – Open-air performance in Senj
19:00 – 20:00 – Dinner at the hotel
Day 3 – July 5,
07:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
10:00 – 16:00 – Optional excursions: Boat trip to Vrbnik (wine tasting and sightseeing) or Cave Biserujka & Island Krk tour
19:00 – 20:00 – Dinner at the hotel
Day 4 – July 6,
07:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
12:00 – Departure of groups
Organizers reserve the right to modify the program if necessary.
Participation Rules
Open to all folk dance groups, orchestras, majorette teams, choirs, and modern dance groups worldwide.
No age limits for participants.
No limit on the number of participants per group, but spots are limited.
Each group must prepare at least two performances, each lasting 8–15 minutes, using USB or live music.
Groups must bring their national flag and a symbolic gift.
Required documents include a completed application form, a short group description (CV), three high-quality group photos, and a participant list with full details by May 5, 2025.
All groups must arrange their own transport to and from Senj.
Participation Fee
Accommodation with half board (breakfast and dinner):
€165 per person – Hotel Uvala Scott, Kraljevica (Comfort) – triple rooms, limited doubles
€185 per person – Hotel Uvala Scott (Standard, air-conditioned) – triple rooms, doubles and singles available
€185 per person – Hotel Adriatic, Omisalj – triple rooms
€189 per person – Boarding House Lucija, Kostrena – double rooms
€195 per person – Hotel Art, Senj – double & triple rooms
Supplements: double room +€15 per person/day; single room +€30 per day
Extra day available on request (price depends on accommodation)
One free group leader for every 25 participants (except Lucija)
